Song of the Day: February 29, 2016 - "Pokémon Theme Song" by Cœur de pirate
This weekend marked 20 years since Pokémon came into existence, and so Cœur de pirate covered the theme song.
What more do you need to know?

Happy Album Release Day to Vancouver's Rococode!
The band put out a new track yesterday called "A Diamond" from their new full-length album, Don't Worry It Will Be Dark Soon, which is conveniently out today!
Check out the song below, be sure to pick up a copy of the new album as well, and check them out on tour this spring.
Stressed out?
Someone say something idiotic and you are trying to keep your cool?
Too many nights out and you just want to flop down on your couch with a cup of chamomile tea?
Well, we've got the playlist for you! Press play and namaste (did I use that right?) with these Vancouver, BC, and Canadian artists, ready to calm you down and let you zen out.
Vancouver's (Juno Nominated!) HUMANS are about to head down to the madness that is SXSW for a few shows before returning home for one here at Celebrities on March 25th, and have released a new track called "Water Water".
They have also announced a new EP to be released on March 4th on Mom & Pop Music!
Listen to the new track below and keep an eye out for the new album.

April 8th is the release date that was just announced for Tokyo Police Club's new album, titled Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness.
The first single, "Not My Girl", was just put out last week as well, and is some of the new music we've heard from TPC since their 2014 album Forcefield.
Have a listen to the infinitely rad song below:
Lovish came out a few months ago, but Library Voices are still cranking out singles from it. They just released the video for "Slacker", a bit of a grungy, psych-rock song with a lo-fi video to match.
They're also heading out on tour soon, though no word of a Vancouver date... but hopefully that will change.
Two of Canada's most interesting songwriters are joining forces for a split 7" release.
One one side, you have Chad VanGaalen and "Primative Brain", a song you could only find on a small run cassettes.
On the other, it's Bry Webb of Constantines, with a "Modern Mind", written in response to CVG's song.
A limited run of physical copies of the 7” are available to pre-order today via Wyatt Records website. And while this is the first release from the new label, keep an eye out, because they are promising a lot more in the future.
Holy fuck, it's brand new Holy Fuck! They've announced their first album since '010's Latin which will be due out on May 27th and called Congrats.
The driving, electronic "Tom Tom" is the lead single and has everything you've come to expect from the band, and also features some uncharacteristic vocals from the normally-instrumental band.
