3am Playlist #35: April 2016 Concerts

No fancy name this week to get your all confused - this playlist is made up of songs by almost 30 artists, all of which will be playing in Vancouver this April!

There's even more artists than that, some from the states (Death Cab) and some without CBC Music pages (Modern Space I'm looking at you).

3am Playlist #33: SAVVIE & Friends!

SAVVIE it's your birthday! Happy Birthday SAVVIE!

This week's playlist is all too fitting, coinciding with the birthday of Savannah Leigh Wellman (of SAVVIE) and her celebratory show tomorrow (Feb 12) at Guilt & Co.

SAVVIE will be performing along with friends JP Maurice, and Jody Glenham and some more local faces. We asked the birthday girl to put together a list of SAVVIE's friends for this week's list of tunes. Who knows, maybe some of them will be there tomorrow as well! You'll just have to show up and find out.

3am Playlist #31: Modern Space Guest Playlist

When a band is playing your city 3 times in 4 days, it's only polite to invite them to make a playlist for you!

Modern Space is on tour from Toronto and will be performing alongside the Arkells at the Commodore for their two night, sold out, stand this Monday February 1st and Tuesday February 2nd. Then after a day off (hopefully Vancouver will give them some sunshine) they're over to the Media Club on Thursday night with Smash Boom Pow, and Derrival.

3am Playlist #30: Yippee Ki Yay

With the recent reopening of the Yale Saloon and the upcoming launch party (that we are GIVING AWAY TICKETS TO - click here) I figured it was time for a playlist to match.

I've put together the artists that I'd love to hear perform on the Yale Saloon stage, songs that I'd stomp my white cowboy boots on the hardwood floor along to, and artists I can picture would kick some butt on the mechanical bull.

The finale for #SingItFwd has come, and over today and tomorrow there will be MANY talented artists gracing the stage at the Vogue Theatre in support of the St James Music Academy.

There have been even more artists throughout the last 5 years, so today's playlist is of those that will #SingIfFwd and those that have SUNG it fwd.
