Why? I picked a slow week to go to LA, and there’s not much happening local band wise in the city. But if you want to go to the big show and see The Strokes at Rogers Arena, Toronto band Alvvays is in the opening slot!

Why? We’re still deep in JFL Northwest, and I am beyond excited to finally be seeing June, Jason, and Paul live as they ask the question how did this get made?

Where? Performance Works on Granville Island
When? TONIGHT! (Feb 21st)
Why? First of all, it’s a free show put on the Jazz Festival, so no budget excuses there! RSVPs are full, but there is standing room, so get there early because these two ladies are phenomenal, and it’s going to be a busy one!
