Who? Middleditch & Schwartz
Where? The Vogue Theatre
When? Saturday, Feb 15
Why? JFL Northwest is in full swing, and I am beyond disappointed that I am going to be out of town for the pairing of Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz. Watch them do their long-form improv show at the Vogue (and check out the dozens of other JFLNW shows this weekend!)

Who? Lucky Chops
Where? Rickshaw Theatre
When? Saturday Feb 15th!
Why? I saw Lucky Chops in France at a music festival several years ago and they were SO MUCH fun. If you like brass instruments and dancing, this one is for you!

Who? Blonde Diamond
Where? H.R. MacMillan Space Centre (you heard me)
When? Friday, February 14 (why, that’s tonight!)
Why? I can’t think of a better band to be playing a show called “Gravitational Attraction” on Valentines Day. They’re playing TWO sets (of originals and covers) at 7:30 and 9pm, amid a load of other fun stuff at the plane’arium.

When? Friday, Feb 7 (hey, that’s tonight!)
Why? The Beaches make their return to Vancouver for a headlining show at the Commodore! And I hope you already got your tickets, cos this one is SOLD OUT.

Who? Bedouin Soundclash & Odario
Where? The Imperial
When? Saturday February 8th
Why? Bedouin and Odario are finally coming back into town and it’s gonna be a great show. I’m hoping for a Dawn Pemberton appearance too after Odario released this single the other week. Come join me!

Why? If you missed them last night, well, you’ll miss them tonight too, because the show’s been sold out for ages. But We Are The City closes out the month of their pop-up RIP Store with a show of their own!
