Where? Uh, Richmond (well, Steveston, to be precise) 
When? ... Canada Day. Keep up.
Why? Big Sugar is going to rock your body til Canada Day, along with Terra Lightfoot, Vince Vaccaro, and loads more in Steveston! (Bonus fun fact: did you know Steveston was originally known as SALMONOPOLIS?)

Christine's Pick

Who? Canada Day at Canada Place
Where? uh, Canada Place
When? Canada Day! Geez! (Sunday July 1st)
Why? The shows are free and followed up by fireworks! Performers include Leisure Club, JP Maurice, Weaves, The Tourist Company and more - full schedule here.

Why? Fresh off their Long List nomination for the Polaris Prize, Edmonton's Faith Healer will be singing their tunes alongside Montreal's ANEMONE and Vancouver's Blue J. Not a Toronto band in sight!
