Gigs Of The Week: April 15 - 21, 2016
Every Friday 3am Revelations give you our picks for some of the fantastic live shows happening in and around our city of Vancouver.
There's much more going on all the time, which you can check out in our concert calendar.
What are you seeing this week? Let us know in the comments below.
Kirk's Pick
Who? Moonface
Where? The Lido
When? Friday, April 15th (by which I mean tonight!)
Why? A) I haven't seen Spencer Krug perform live in any capacity since seeing Sunset Rubdown in '09, and 2) Julia With Blue Jeans On is one of my favourite albums of the last few years. So, yeah, I'm a little excited for a free solo piano Moonface show at a nice venue two blocks from my house.
Christine's Pick
Who? Record Store Day 2016
Where? all of the Record Stores!
When? Saturday April 16
Why? Free music all across the city and great deals on vinyl and other music related stuff. Check out the HUGE post that I put together for the blog on all of the locations and happenings.
Jessica's Pick
Who? Lovecoast
Where? Guilt & Co
When? Saturday, April 16th
Why? Come get your underground groove on in the city's favourite jazz lair! Plus it's by donation AND Lovecoast just dropped a new song today, so don't miss out on fresh tunes - and definitely don't forget to bring your dancing shoes!
