Why? Not only am I excited for WATC's homecoming (I haven't seen them play since... '013?!) but I am also excited to see HIGHS for the first time, after falling head over heels for their EP a year and a half ago.

Why? Rae Spoon is putting on two shows on March 13th - an afternoon and evening one to celebrate the release of the new album Armour. Two shows and "$15 no one turned away for lack of funds" sounds about right!

Why? With the release of her first album (produced by Vancouver's Jordan Klassen) Jenny Banai will share not only her music but her heart with fans and friends. Plus, it's always a good night to see some strings. Let's make Saturday Strings a tradition!

Why? Every time I hear Lake Street Dive described on the radio it changes - sometimes they're billed as soul, other times jazz, sometimes rock'n'roll... in any case they're a full-throttle powerhouse band that will knock your socks off next Tuesday.
