Jessica's Pick

Who? Amanda Palmer #TEDninja & Guests
Where? Vogue Theatre
When? Wednesday, February 16th
Why? This yearly tradition has brought some of the hippest artists, thinkers, musicians, poets, and you-name-the-talent's to Vancouver's Vogue theatre. Guests are a surprise, but you can be sure to be thoroughly entertained while raising money for the Great Vancouver Food Bank. Keep your eyes peeled on the social media as well for pop-up shows at a certain Vancouver shoe store as well that Palmer tends to favour every time she's in town...

Jess's Pick

Who? Eagle Rock Gospel Singers with guests Lovecoast
Where? The Media Club
When? Saturday January 30th
Why? If you want to hear an LA band put their spin on gospel-choir music with catchy refrains, look no further. You may or may not be stuck humming this little light of mine for days after, but trust me, it will all be worth it.
